It's a Horrorful Life!

You'll see a lot of strange things from now on.

Sick of Twilight? We are too!

Luna's ready for anything with this practical and tactical fascinator!

If you’re serious about preparing against sparkly vampire attacks and fashion, grab your glue gun and whip up this quick and easy all-in-one accessory!

You will need a comb or clip, some yarn or ribbon, white fabric roses, a tiny bottle that can be opened and resealed, a garlic clove, a silver cross, preferrably blessed by a pope – John Paul II, not that guy who hates Harry Potter – and a small wooden stake.  If the local five and dime is out of stakes, get a clean dry stick and a pocket knife and commence to whittling.

You will need all this crap, and probably a bottle of red.

If you’re using a comb, wrap yarn or ribbon between the teeth to give the elements something textured to adhere to.  Snip off the excess and glue both ends securely.

Play around with your materials and plan your design before gluing.   Position the bigger rose on the left first, then add the stake.   Give it a slightly jaunty angle.

Pro-tip: the flowers pop right off the plastic stalks. You don't have to chip your good scissors cutting through their wire centers. I didn't.

Arrange your flowers around the stake, using their fluffy petals to obscure the ugly underbelly of your craft project.  You can glue your other items to the structure or affix them with craft wire or whatever you can come up with  – I used a jump ring and made a very small nip in a sturdy petal.

Just a little snip - make sure it's not right beside the edge - then open the jump ring and slide it through.

That’s all folks!  Sweep your hair to the side or arrange it in a twist and jam that sucker in there.  Sashay through a crowded room and wait for the masses to notice you, you stylish thing you!  And when a Cullen sidles up to you in a dark science lab, you’ll know what to do!

You'll see me around town in art classes (and not always as the model), plays and movie shoots! I'm always working on the next Wayward Girls School of Burlesque show or photo shoot, and of course I brake for horror - any and all horror!
