And you only have to wait until February for the next one.
Glenn spills the beans to the group. Rick enters into negotiations with Hershel. Maggie, although pissed at Glenn, puts dear ole da in his place. Something is developing between Daryl and Carol (if only their names didn’t rhyme)–a tender friendship perhaps; it shows what a gooey marshmallow Daryl is. Lori puts Shane in his place, and Dale gives him a stern talking to. Rick and Hershel round up some “livestock.” Shane flips his shit–’roid rage? Nah. Things get nasty. And they finally find Sophia. Brutal.
I was quite satisfied with this episode. I expected it to be good being the mid-season finale and all. Turns out it was better than good. We’ll have to wait and see if they can keep churning out episodes like this. If they do, I just might quit talking smack.
My expectations are low, but you can bet I’ll be tuned in on February 12 when the season resumes.
